most people(esp, music geeks) say that david bowie's best works are, berlin trilogy. so called classic ended near the 60s jazz and pop, rock music blast them away. they make any more new classic(DYKWIM) music since them.
beatles made some of avantgarde music but they never step over commercialism. radiohead are so too. but bowie and eno, made music truly something new and meaningful to music history for the macro way, almost all of pop music will be forgotten,except beatles and some of them, because they are all the same , just variation(as music, as song, is totally different field) but this one , these ones , are will be noted more and more time goes by , i believe.
